【推薦】英倫風格。In the fire。

thirteen senses樂隊成員四人都來自英格蘭的cornwall, Will South是樂隊的主唱，同時負責部分吉他和鍵盤的演奏，Tom Welham爲樂隊的吉他手，另外兩名是bass手Adam Wilson和鼓手Brendon James。四人在學院結識後組建了thirteen senses,初期主要是在英格蘭的西南部做一些小的演出。2003年12月，thirteen senses進駐倫敦，開始了真正意義的樂隊生涯。 2004年的3月樂隊發表他們的首張單曲《Thru The Glass》（05年的一月這張單曲再版發行）。之後第二張單曲唱片《Do No Wrong》的發表可以算作成功的後繼，但第三張單曲唱片《into the fire》的發表才算是爲thirteen senses的發展徹底鋪平了道路。《into the fire》也成爲thirteen senses目前最紅的熱門單曲。緊随其後正式發表的專輯《the invitation》雖然已有大部分作品提前在單曲唱片中曝光，使專輯缺乏神秘感，但在12首曲目中，除了提到的《into the fire》一氣呵成以及《Thru The Glass》跌宕起伏外，《gone》裏的假聲漂亮而經典，《the salt wound routine》中的鋼琴理性而認真。 thirteen senses溫暖剔透的吉他很容易讓人想起travis或coldplay這樣的英倫吉他流行團，或者也很容易讓人拿keane與之比較，音樂性上，同爲配器簡單旋律動聽的英倫新團，keane的歌唱本領更好一些，旋律也比thirteen略高一籌，但我以爲，聽慣的英倫音樂的人似乎對吉他的興趣要遠比鋼琴多，其實這也很好理解，就好比作得一手極品川菜的廚子卻用不上正宗的上等辣椒一樣，再怎麽努力也總是無法滿足一部分人的審美。thirteen senses能夠做到也恰好是滿足這一部分人。如果非要讓thirteen senses跟keane扯上些關系的話，那麽在跟keane處于同期内的樂隊就該算是thirteen senses最大的不幸了，他們的音樂在某些取向上實在太keane了。而兩者唯一的共同點應該就是長得都不如英倫前輩們尖吧。
